A camera is almost always with me — not for capture alone, but as a way of slowing down and understanding where I am. The work sits somewhere between observation and reflection.
I'm drawn to quiet places: edges of towns, working landscapes, rivers, roads, and the spaces people pass through rather than pose within. Much of it is about what's left behind, overlooked, or quietly endured. Having lived across the UK, Europe, and the US, I'm interested in how place shapes behaviour, identity, and mood.
The images are understated — often made slowly, frequently while moving. Less concerned with spectacle than with atmosphere, tension, and small human traces within larger systems. Influenced by documentary traditions, but personal rather than journalistic. An attempt to make sense of where we are, and how it feels to be there, without over-explaining.
